👣 Adult Ministries

LFCN views adulthood as a journey of growth and maturity, guided by the mission to develop Spirit-filled, Christlike disciples who live out Scriptural holiness.

Connect & Grow:

  • Groups: We offer various Prayer, Bible Study, Discipleship, Community, and Fellowship groups for all stages of faith.

  • Worship: Opportunities to serve are available quarterly.

🧸 Children’s Ministry (Ages 0–12)

At LFCN, we partner with parents to nurture children as Spirit-filled disciples of Christ. Our ministry is dedicated to providing high-quality instruction and guidance modeled after the Word of God.

Our Approach:

  • Curriculum: The Bible serves as our core curriculum.
  • Resources: We utilize materials from the Nazarene Publishing House and other evangelical resources.
  • Mentorship: Our adult and teen volunteers serve as living examples of God's love.
  • Purpose: All programs are designed to foster worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, or evangelism.

☀️ Sunday Morning (11:00 a.m.)

Children are invited to participate in the first 15 minutes of the Morning Worship Service before transitioning to age-appropriate ministries.

  • Nursery (Ages 2 & younger): An unstaffed space is available for parents to supervise their children, with optional media resources for biblical storytelling.
  • Pre-Kindergarten (Ages 3–6): Focuses on enjoying learning about God, covering basic stories from creation, the Old Testament, and the life of Christ.
  • Grade School (Grades 1–7): A fun, spiritually challenging environment where children review major biblical stories and themes multiple times by the sixth grade.

🚀 Youth Ministry (Grades 7–12)

Nazarene Youth International (NYI) centers on evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development, reflecting LFCN’s motto to KNOW, BE, SERVE, GO.

Group Life:

  • Purpose: Our youth group aims to connect, worship, play, and learn about Jesus in a communal environment.

  • Schedule: We meet twice monthly at 176 Wellington Street; please contact the church office for current dates and times.

  • Updates: Check our Facebook page or Instagram @LFNyouth for recent announcements and information.

🎁 Serve at LFCN

At LFCN, we believe we are “Saved to Serve.” We encourage everyone to discover their spiritual gifts—using their natural talents, life experiences, and God-given abilities to build up the Body of Christ.

Ways to Serve:

  • Ministry Areas: Opportunities are available across all age groups, including worship arts, media, hospitality, visitation, and facilities management.
  • Safety First: All personnel serving with children, youth, or vulnerable adults must complete mandatory “Abuse Prevention” screening and training before beginning.
  • Get Involved: Pick up a Ministry/Service Survey to find your ideal role, complete it, and return it to a pastoral staff member.
